Happy New Year!

I am writing this post from my brand new laptop that I got for Christmas!

Hi!  Here I am in my jammies!

Not the greatest picture, but it's more than I could do with my last laptop.  You see... my last laptop was slowly dying.  A very slow, very painful death.  Take a look:

I bought that Mac Powebook in 2003.  And I LOVED it.  I LOVED it to death.  Literally.  I loaded it up with so much stuff... that it just couldn't hold any more.  I couldn't load any more pictures onto it.  Even with my external drive, it just couldn't take any more.  And I had no word processor.  So it had basically turned into a glorified web surfing tool.  And then the boys got to it.  Cash stuck a penny into the disk drive... so I could no longer burn or rip disks.  Then, when I wasn't looking Cole ripped off all those keys.  Not all at once, mind you.  No, one by one, he ripped them off... it took weeks.  That's what I mean by a slow painful death.

I won't blame my entire lack of blogging in 2010 on my poor Mac... but I am going to blame a portion of my dearth of posts on it.  I mean, really.  It was painful to try to get pictures loaded.  And those two above... took just seconds.  Woot woot!

So, here's to more posts in 2011.  I hope to get back into the groove.  And I might even try to do some back dated posts... because we really did have a great 2010... and I'd hate for it to go undocumented!
